Mission: To develop strategies promoting and enhancing plant breeding education, training, awareness, and funding to foster a future workforce for sustainable global plant breeding. To address the educational gap for the generational relief (between Uni grads and working breeders).
Plant breeding uses principles from a variety of sciences to improve the genetic potential of plants. The process involves combining parental plants to obtain the next generation with the best characteristics.
The National Association for Plant Breeding (NAPB) is a science-based non-profit organization welcoming all, especially plant breeders and students who share our vision. We invite you to become an active member by enrolling now.
One-year membership is $130 for professionals and $70 for students. The three-year membership for professionals is $345 and for students $165.
